
Dr. Lee earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Barnard College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She completed the Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine program with high honors from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
She then proceeded with residency training in Podiatric medicine and surgery at Metropolitan Hospital Center and subsequently completed an intensive 3rd year of surgical training at Long Island Jewish Hospital. Her training included emphasis on foot and ankle reconstruction, the treatment of diabetes related wounds, and management of limb threatening infections.
Dr. Lee has a special interest in the design and fabrication of custom orthotics for treatment of foot and ankle disorders. These devices are used to manage such painful conditions as ruptured tendons, bone structure abnormalities, and heel pain, as well as performance enhancement for athletes. They may also be prescribed in the management of many children's foot and ankle conditions to improve bone structure and aid in the development of normal gait.
